The 226ERS Keto 45 g (Unit 1) Protein bar has been made with a high percentage of proteins and fats, low in carbohydrates and sugars.
It is also gluten-free, vegan, palm oil-free, free of hydrogenated fats and added sugars. The result is a bar that does not raise blood sugar or insulin levels, thus promoting the consumption of fats for energy.
Its nutritional profile makes it a satiating bar that promotes metabolic flexibility due to its high fat and low carbohydrate content, thus improving mental clarity, digestive function and moving away from dependence on carbohydrate consumption and the insulin peaks they generate.
Made of:
- MCTs from coconut provide quality fatty acids to avoid drawing on glycogen stores both during exercise and during the day. Provides continuous energy during prolonged exercise and helps reduce lactate accumulation
- Pea protein, with a high proportion of both essential and non-essential amino acids. It is highly bioavailable and digestible, optimises tissue formation and tones muscles.
- Cocoa butter, which gives it a creamy texture as it is the fat obtained directly from the cocoa beans.
