It is the first of two systems developed by AKU to guarantee a high level of breathability of the shoe. It is a fabric made with a special technique thanks to which the level of transpiration in the space of 24h, increases up to more than 11 times compared to a fabric made with a conventional system.
- GORE-TEX
GORE-TEX membrane is a unique heat-sealed technical fabric containing approximately 1. 4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These sediments are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water droplets cannot penetrate the membrane, moisture vapor easily escapes. GORE-TEX has developed 3 specific types of membrane for the footwear sector, each with specific functional properties.
- Elica Tech
It is an integrated system consisting of 3 distinct parts on the sole and midsole to faithfully follow the anatomical shape of the sole of the foot and adapts to the normal tilt of the heel and forefoot to reduce impact and tension. Laboratory tests certify that footwear with Elica, compared to traditional footwear, guarantees a more uniform distribution of foot pressure.
- Exoskeleton
It is an AKU solution applied to several of its high-tech models. A new architecture designed to ensure protection and stability only where needed, without compromising light weight. Exoskeleton technology is applied to the sole; the midsole is composed of a lightweight polyurethane outer skeleton, which goes up the back and surrounds the heel to protect it and provide stability when walking. The asymmetrical structure, with a wider inner part and a polyurethane augmentation in the central part, offers support and pronation control.
- Precise Fit
Precise fit, with slight curvatures for footwear, designed for dynamic use on medium-hard terrain or more demanding technical surfaces.
