Apple Watch SE detects if you've been in a serious car accident. If so, it can automatically call for help, send your location to the emergency services and alert the contacts you have defined. This new Apple Watch feature is made possible by an improved three-axis gyroscope and a new high G-force accelerometer, which offers a higher dynamic range than any other smartwatch. It also uses a microphone, barometer, GPS and an advanced sensor fusion algorithm trained on more than a million hours of real-world collisions to tell if you've been in an accident.
