The ASICS GT-1000 10 GS shoes take a big step forward from what this model represents. The previous edition laid the foundation by providing intrinsic value in its midsole, allowing this upgrade to focus on the upper. Functional for those who require more space in their shoes, the width in this model is wider to provide a proper fit. The upper has been re-imagined with a new specially designed mesh that conforms to the natural shape of your foot while providing a comfortable midfoot support. An integrated support system has been added, which improves the fit of the heel and creates a more secure feeling. In line with a more sustainable design approach, these shoes also use fewer resources in insole colouring. They feature a layer of GEL cushioning technology in the heel that improves shock absorption, as well as a FlyteFoam midsole material that ensures a softer feel and greater support when walking. Finally, the DuoMax support system consists of a firmer density of foam placed in the midsole that helps reduce pronounced inward movements of the foot (over pronation) while improving stability.
