The Assos Equipe RS Aero short sleeve jersey incorporates a micro-adjusted design and detailed finishes that have resulted in a new definition of Assos' aerodynamics, known as AeroFit. To this end, it incorporates a miniCheck Tex circular knitted textile material, as it is a 3D knitted textile material that offers great elasticity and has been specifically designed to offer great breathability and moisture absorption. On the back, it uses the Stabilizer fabric, as it is designed to ensure the position of the jersey thanks to its elastic and vertical limitation composition. The choice of material for the new hemmed sleeves, yoke and pockets is determined by the aggressive position that riders take on the road, as it must be as flexible and soft as possible. In addition, the warp knit with push-pull effect offers high sun protection (SPF 50+), fast drying and bi-stretch elasticity. Beyond the precise design of AeroFit, the garment has additional specific details that also contribute to greater speed and comfort. It features a glued zip with a locking system in the front, a waist adjustment and a combination of tightened sleeves without hems to ensure comfort and support. On the back, add a triple back pocket to store your heavier items, plus a lighter elastic hem to eliminate additional weight on the garment.

Features jersey:
- AeroFit: This is the simplest cut, designed for use on the road, with a better fit and higher compression than racingFit. Also, although it can be adjusted when not cycling, it really acts like a second skin on the road
- miniCheck Tex: This is a super-light 3D knitted open-weave fabric that offers exceptional breathability, fast drying, maximum lightness, sun protection (SPF 25) despite its light weight and odorControl technology for greater durability and hygiene.
- Push Pull: pockets and sleeves are made of our push-pull effect warp knit fabric which offers high sun protection (SPF 50+). It also offers high breathability, comfort and quick drying thanks to the fine knit material with bi-stretch elasticity
- Stabilizer fabric: this is a featherweight material, but it offers great strength, designed for the cooling panel located on the back of the jersey. This fabric favours the stability and adaptation of the garment, as well as offering SPF 30 sun protection, despite its low weight and volume
- Triple back pocket: a system with three pockets with textile flaps that are optimally located for easy access without risking the security and stability of your belongings. Features a hole for the headphones in the right pocket and micro-perforated reflective fabrics for increased visibility
- Full length zip: This is an ultra-light, close-fitting full-length zip with a locking system that helps regulate body temperature. As for the neckband, it has been developed using a micro-injection technique that stabilises the fabric to allow the zip to be used with just one hand
- Hem-less Sleeves: The front of the sleeves is covered with a soft fabric and the back is tightened to achieve the best balance between comfort and stability. - Waist fit: this is a tight-edged design for better aerodynamics and finish
- Lightweight rear hem: This is a wide, elastic safety hem that prevents friction when cycling. In addition, it is much lighter and more breathable than the previous generation of garments.
- Material: 60% PL / 27% PA / 13% EA
The Assos Equipe RS S9 bib shorts use the A-Lock Engineering system, a new bracing system composed of exclusive textiles combined with advanced technologies that stabilise the shorts and secure the pad in its place. The S9 generation are constructed with only two panels, with a main panel with a butterfly pattern designed with soft fabrics that cover the legs and come together in the back to create a new ergonomic construction known as ergoBox. This design effectively frames the pad, keeping it in its place, boxing it in for maximum comfort in your legs with the Type.441 fabric, created specifically to provide suitable support and smooth comfort. Also added is the rollBar system that mimics the stabiliser bar of a race car by using the bib straps to stabilise the chamois while your weight shifts from left to right on the bends. Each strap is stitched to the fabric directly above the seat pad, to ensure it is in constant tension.

Bib shorts features:
- Use: Road
- Material: 80% PA / 20% EA
- The straps are made of a more flexible material in the front with an antibacterial carbon fabric to absorb moisture and prevent them from twisting.

As with all Assos bib shorts the difference is on the inside and the new S9 insert seat pad offers unique qualities engineered for long distances.

Pad features:
- S9 Basalt: upper part constructed from antibacterial microfibre coating in grey 3D basalt. This represents a homage to the volcanic rock that gives Assos power, stability and courage.
- Horizontal stabiliser: patented central stitching that locks the seat pad to the outer textile, preventing it from moving when pedalling without your bottom on the saddle.
- kraterCooler: a system of small ventilation holes at the front of the pad to increase airflow, keeping the most sensitive parts of your body cool.
- Smaller design: compared to the previous Equipe Evo design, this pad has a reduced volume, to save weight.
- superAir microShock foam: a lightweight open cell foam with a shock absorbing composition returns to its original position and fills the gap every time pedalling position is changed through the shift of weight.
- 3D cushioning system: a patented, three-layer perforated foam increases breathability and reduces excess weight.
- GoldenGate technology: patented technology that does away with stitching along both sides of the panels of the pad to offer maximum three-dimensional freedom of movement in the most sensitive of rotational areas.
The Assos garments feature a specific cut which has been designed with your position on the bicycle in mind. Some Assos garments have been specially designed for users of athletic build. Assos garments have an anatomical fit, based on the AEPD system (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design), therefore Assos has designed their garments the cyclist’s protection and adaptation in mind, but without overdoing on pressure points. The best way to feel Assos’ anatomical precision is by wearing their garments and getting yourself in position on your bicycle. You will feel how the clothes adapt perfectly to your cycling posture. Obviously, Assos does not design clothing to be comfortable off the bike, this is a normal feeling among customers.
Purchasing the wrong size (too large or too small) will cause discomfort. A garment that is too large may cause irritation and discomfort due to folds or surpluses of the fabric, since in this case Assos’ personal ALS sizing system would not work perfectly. If the garment is too small, the points of union and seams will stretch excessively, resulting in an increase in pressure and discomfort.
Suggestions for use:
- Never pull on seams when putting on or taking off Assos garments
- Before getting on the bicycle, properly put on your clothes, especially the seat pad and other pressure points, without forcing the seams or points of union
- Assos bib shorts are designed for cycling. This means the bib straps can be over stretched when standing up, on your bike this excessive pressure disappears, if this is not the case review your sizing
- Avoid over stretching the bib shorts when peeing (for men). It’s best to do this by pulling the garment from the belly and the straps, always leaning forward to reduce tension on the seams
- Avoid cycling near branches and bushes, this will undoubtedly spoil your clothes
