Assos Equipe RS Winter Jacket Black Blue

The Assos Equipe RS Winter jacket is designed specifically for professional cyclists and athletes who train all year round. It is a garment resistant to wind and cold, providing the right level of insulation that will perfectly regulate the temperature of the torso area during competitions and training outings in low temperatures. The SPHERE fabric line is composed of textile materials offering different membrane thicknesses to ensure waterproof protection and flexible comfort. On the inside, the front panel is made of several ultra-thin layers. The first is similar to an intermediate layer with a short zipper that protects the chest area with specific insulation, followed by the triple-layer SPHERE Light fabric, which is wind and water resistant and has a light thermal layer inside. Diffuser valves on the shoulders, which act as a set of ventilation holes allowing air to enter and exit between the different layers of fabric in the jacket.

The upper back panel and forearms are made of the triple-layer SPHERE Medium fabric, which has a thicker and more insulating material inside. The lower back panel is made of OSMOS Heavy fabric while the inner middle layer uses OSMOS Light fabric, a lighter and more breathable material. Finally, the upper arms are made of warp knitting and triple layer ZigZaggy Foam, which effectively covers and protects against the wind thanks to its plush material. The jacket is part of a 3-layer overlay system. It can be worn alone during the winter or combined with an undershirt for extra insulation. If you want to add extra coverage in wet or more demanding weather conditions, the Equipe RS Clima jacket can be placed on top. Any of these additional layers can be conveniently stored in the Thermobooster pocket inside the jacket, on the upper back panel.

- SPHERE Light: used for the front panel, this medium-weight version of the SPHERE line is a 3-layer, Softshell-type fabric that offers wind and water resistance and high breathability. In addition, it has a polyurethane membrane to provide greater water repellency. - Tibet fabric: this is the innermost layer of the SPHERE Light fabric, i.e. a circular knitted, bi-stretch material that adds a slight insulation and keeps moisture out of the upper layers
- SPHERE Medium fabric: This is the thicker version of the SPHERE fabric used for the upper rear panel and forearms. It is a patented 3-layer Softshell-type fabric that offers wind resistance and high breathability. In addition, it has a polyurethane membrane to provide greater water resistance. Weight: 320 g/m2; breathable: PVA (water vapour permeability) 20 000 g/m2 in 24h; water column >10 000 mm; elasticity: 4-way stretch
- Rhombus fabric: this is the innermost layer of the SPHERE Medium fabric, i.e. a Terry cloth made of polypropylene and soft Jacquard fibres that has a 3D design and a diamond shaped net to promote air circulation and moisture absorption. It also has an additional layer of insulation on the upper back panel and forearms
- ZigZaggy Foam fabric: the upper sleeves are made of this warp knit, triple-layer windproof fabric with a foam core and brushed fleece interior for added thermal protection
- OSMOS Heavy fabric: this warp knit is used for the back panel. This is the heaviest textile material in the OSMOS family of brushed fabrics (290 g/m2). It has an asymmetric elasticity and a durable design that is soft to the touch. It also offers a high level of insulation thanks to the brushed side facing the skin
- Diffuser design: this is a design exclusive to ASSOS that is characterized by two 'valves' on the front of the shoulders, which promotes air circulation and provides additional ventilation.
- Asymmetrical two-way zipper: this is an inverted zipper design with a locking system and made of metal that continues up to the neck for greater comfort
- Thermobooster Pocket: This is a fourth pocket located on the rear center panel that is designed to hold the Thermobooster Midlayer or the Alleycat Clima Capsule.
- Triple back pocket: This is the system of three pockets made of a fabric flap that are optimally located for easy access. In addition, they are color-coded and have a micro-perforated adhesive tape for greater visibility
- Hemless waist: this is a clean, streamlined design that integrates seamlessly with additional layers
- Bimodular rear hem: this is a wide, bimodular elastic that folds more at the sides than in the middle to ensure optimized support
- Design aeroFit: This is the simplest cut, designed for use on the road, with a better fit and higher compression than racingFit. Also, although it can be adjusted when not cycling, it really acts like a second skin on the road

The Assos garments feature a specific cut which has been designed with your position on the bicycle in mind. Some Assos garments have been specially designed for users of athletic build. Assos garments have an anatomical fit, based on the AEPD system (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design), therefore Assos has designed their garments the cyclist's protection and adaptation in mind, but without overdoing on pressure points. The best way to feel Assos' anatomical precision is by wearing their garments and getting yourself in position on your bicycle. You will feel how the clothes adapt perfectly to your cycling posture. Obviously, Assos does not design clothing to be comfortable off the bike, this is a normal feeling among customers.
Purchasing the wrong size (too large or too small) will cause discomfort. A garment that is too large may cause irritation and discomfort due to folds or surpluses of the fabric, since in this case Assos' personal ALS sizing system would not work perfectly. If the garment is too small, the points of union and seams will stretch excessively, resulting in an increase in pressure and discomfort.
