Assos Skharab Glasses Black with Grey Photochromic Lens

The Assos Skharab glasses are specifically designed for mountain biking and road cycling routes. They retain several design details of Zegho glasses, such as their characteristic rimless frame, fully adjustable bridge and light weight, but their main difference from other models is that it is specially designed for speed in changing terrain, and variable light conditions. The design process has been developed by working with athletes from both disciplines, building prototype shapes that will fit a variety of face and helmet types. The result is a unique wrap-around lens that provides a wide field of vision in aggressive pedalling positions on both road and mountain trails. The temples taper towards the ends to promote aerodynamics and secure the position of the top of the lens, adapting to the curvature of the head above the ears to ensure a smooth and secure fit. The lens itself is a piece of impact-resistant nylon, selected primarily for its durability and low weight. The lens provides full UV protection, accentuates contrast and improves visibility on the road or in the mountains. The Skharab glasses are designed in Switzerland, handmade in Italy and include a protective hard case with a cloth for cleaning.
