Assos Trail Spring Jacket Green Black

The Assos Trail Spring jacket offers light insulation, breathable materials and a design made for trails with protective elements. To design it, we thought up a type of garment that could combine with short sleeve and long sleeve trail jerseys for cold spring and autumn days where temperatures can vary. Taking into account that the front half of the body, shoulders and head are the ones that suffer most from the bad weather, we decided to apply the new ultra soft and flexible RX TECH Melange material to these areas. This is an excellent mixed material that is fleeced on the inside for a light layer of insulation, designed specially for long and continuous mountain descents. The high neck lining attached to the hood acts as an integrated neck protector when the zip is raised to the top, though it should be noted that the hood is not helmet-compatible. This lining with hood design works to keep heat around the head both before, during and after activity, making sure the neck is sufficiently protected while you pedal, but without making it too hot. The jacket's back panel is made with the same circular knit Triangle material with tested efficiency for used on Trail jerseys. 

This is a lightweight and flexible material that offers exceptional breathability that keeps moisture away from inner layers. In terms of the sleeves, a high performance RX material has been used, which is lightly brushed inside to add an extra level of insulation, and the dyneRope material on the elbows is abrasion-resistant. For the general design of the jacket, a trailFit has been used, a design type that is meant for mountain biking, but that is also suitable for more casual uses to help you keep pace. It also has a two-way zip that you can open the jacket as usual, top to bottom, or from bottom to top so it opens in a cape style for tougher ascents. There is also a single secret pocket with cover to store small objects safely, like keys or valuables.

Features:
- RX TECH Melange material: a fleece knitted fabric that has been developed to offer exceptional comfort, as well as to absorb moisture, gain an extra level of insulation and offer great flexibility at the same time.
- RX material: our fleece warp knitted fabric with tested bi-stretch elasticity which has been designed to absorb moisture and provide light insulation
- Triangle material: a circular knit and inter-laced material with mono-stretch elasticity that provides vertical stability. It's also ultra soft and offers UPF 35 sun protection and excellent comfort.
- dyneRope material: a high-density Ripstop material that includes a network of high-resistance thicker threads. As well, the type of fibre used is 15 times stronger than steel, as it contain a mix of black polyethylene and is strategically-placed to protect the parts of the body most exposed to abrasion.
- Secret internal pocket: a secret pocket with cover to store money, cards, ski passes, keys or other small items safely.
- Two-way zip: this zip also has the option to open bottom to top for better breathability depending on the weather
- TrailFit: an anatomic fit that moves with the body both on and off the trail, it's a close fit but not too tight. It also offers comfort and versatility for different types of mountain routes, whether that's for an hour or a whole day.

Advice for use:
- Don't pull seams when you put on or take off Assos clothes
- Before getting onto your bike, put clothing on properly, especially bands and other pressure points, without forcing seams or joins.
- The Assos bib tights are designed for bike riding That means that the straps can be pulled too much when we stand up, when you get on the bike, the pressure should disappear, if not, then you need a different size
- Don't pull the bib tights too much when you use the toilet (for men). For this, it's better to pull the garment from the stomach area and straps, always leaning forward to reduce tension on the seams
- Avoid cycling near branches and bushes, as this is likely to break the clothing

Washing advice:
Every time you wash Assos garments, try to do this separately from other garments, this way you can avoid friction and preserve the properties of the Assos clothing
- Always separate lights and darks
- Before each wash, turn clothing inside out
- Assos clothing can be machine-washed, but always use a protective bag or delicate wash programme (maximum 30 degrees)
- Don't use fabric conditioner or aggressive products Always use neutral liquid soaps (Assos Active Wear Cleaner, for example)
- Don't stretch or squeeze Assos garments to extract excess water
- Don't use any kind of dryer on Assos clothes Leave your clothes to air dry, in a place that's sheltered from the sun

Storage:
- After every use, store the Assos garment in a well-ventilated place, although it would be ideal to wash it straight after your bike ride
- Don't dry or keep your item in direct sunlight
- Never leave garments in damp, closed places (avoid plastic bags, sports bags etc.)
- If you usually sweat a lot, you should rinse the garment in cold water after each bike ride This will protect the material from bacteria that could damage it
