The double rope Beal Cobra II Golden Dry 8.6 mm x 60 m is the classic rope for adventure terrain, designed to be an excellent compromise between strength and lightness. It is perfect for big wall climbing, wall climbing and mountaineering. It is characterised by its low impact strength and resistance to a high number of falls. In addition, the rope does not swell and remains flexible for longer. It is also worth noting that it allows you to escape by abseiling even if the sheath is cut thanks to UNICORE technology.

The OPERA 8.5 rope is not only ultra-light and ultra-fluid. It incorporates UNICORE technology for increased strength by making the rope core and sheath integral.
- Golden Dry
Before the rope is manufactured, the individual core and sheath wires are treated with a water-repellent chemical compound. This chemical compound polymerises at high temperature. The durability of this treatment is due to polymerisation, but also to the individual treatment of each of the yarns that make up the rope prior to manufacture. A GOLDEN DRY protected rope is the combination of two treatments: a DRY COVER treatment plus a core treatment. The result is an amazingly waterproof and incredibly durable rope.
