Bell Helmets has been one of the most outstanding brands in the design, manufacture and marketing of sports helmets for more than 50 years. Bell Helmets have won more world championships than all other helmet brands combined. From the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting athletes for generations. Currently, Bell cycling helmets are used in the UCI Pro Tour by teams such as Saxo Bank or Tour de France 2011 champion Cadel Evans, BMC. Their cycling helmets incorporate retention systems like the Twin Axis Gear, the Geared Positioning System, the Ergodial and the Onestep Fit and Onestep Plus. In addition, Bell helmets are manufactured using the In-Mould process that fuses the frame and EPS polyurethane in one piece to achieve a more solid and resistant helmet. Bell also uses the In-Mould Bottom Wrap process in the rear casing to provide greater strength in the middle and lower part, which is the weakest area in most helmets.
