The abbreviations BH are, for more than a century, synonymous with bicycles, cycling and sportsmanship and overcoming. With BH many children have given their first and hesitant pedals and, also, mythical cyclists have forged their legend on some their bicycles.
The industrial career of BH (Beistegui Hermanos) was born in 1909 in the armero village of Eibar (Guipúzcoa, Spain) fruit of the genius and entrepreneurial spirit of three brothers: Cosme, Domingo and Juan Beistegui Albistegui.
The company, initially dedicated to the manufacture of weapons, took a 180 degree turn after the First World War and devoted itself to providing a fast, convenient and economic means of transport to the Eibar neighbors. The result was very light, agile and reliable bicycles.
That was the birth of one of the icons of current cycling and one of the most consolidated and successful brands. From there, and as a result of its technological advances and its commitment to sport, the sporting triumphs and the many innovations that BH has brought to the world of cycling have taken place.
In 1959, BH moved its facilities to Vitoria, to a larger and modern plant from which it has developed bicycles and high-level components for all cycling disciplines: road, mountain, off-road, electric and even fitness and elliptical Its technological innovations, such as the NEO, the Ultralight and Global Concept frames or the Lynx double suspension in the MTB, allow BH to keep anticipating the times to offer the solutions demanded by lovers of the two wheels.
After more than 100 years of existence, the Beistegui family remains in charge of BH, maintaining the philosophy of a company that remains true to the values ??that illuminated it: innovation, research and technological development; social and environmental responsibility; dynamism, commitment, confidence and reliability, and, above all, passion for bicycles. And, all this, with the aim of continuing to offer sports and health products for everyone.
