BH Ultimate RC 6.5 MTB Bike Brown
The BH Ultimate RC 6.5 MTB bike is designed for XC riding, it is an aggressive MTB bike that facilitates technical descents and transmits confidence and stability when riding. The new Ultimate RC has been a major breakthrough for the BH R&D team. It shares 100% of the shape and design with the Ultimate, with a longer top tube, short pods and a thrown steering angle. It incorporates the Toray T800 and T700 carbon fibers that guarantee the perfect balance between rigidity and lightness. It's different because it incorporates frame technology that applies high pressure to the mold to achieve the highest levels of compactness and eliminate inconsistent frame pressures that create bubbles and imperfections. This manufacturing system allows the control and optimization of the optimal thicknesses in the different parts of the frame.
Technology:
-Ultimate DNA: The keys in the development of the new Ultimate RC were the same as in the development of the Ultimate Evo: lightness, increased reach by up to 20mm, very short rear pods - 420mm, and a 68º steering angle. The aim was to create a bicycle that would optimise the balance with the rider, be even more manageable uphill, enhance its qualities downhill and on more technical terrain.
- Performance Carbon Lay-up: the construction of the Ultimate RC frame has been achieved by incorporating the moulding technique applied to high-end road frames. The special arrangement of carbon, resin and high pressure applied inside the mould avoids inconsistent pressures and imperfections and allows to build a lighter, more rigid bike with the best overall performance. M, ±5% weight variation.
- Maximum agility: its ultra-compact pods, only 420 mm, are synonymous with agility and lightning-fast acceleration. The perfect combination of stability going down and reactivity going up. It also incorporates a dropout with a similar look to BH's road bikes, more solid and more compact, reducing the width of the rear pods by 2 cm. And marking the fine and stylish style of the new lines of the painting.
- Maximum rigidity: the design of the Press Fit92 bottom bracket box allows the diagonal tubes to be widened to bring maximum rigidity and minimum bending between the front and rear triangle.
-Flat Mount Technology: The BH Ultimate RC is full of details. It incorporates a bracket for the Flat Mount brake caliper, in the line of low weight and the best possible integration. Despite its minimalism, the frame has been designed to withstand the stress of the rear brake with solvency.
- Blocklock bt across: A highlight is the addition of the Blocklock by Acros steering system, which limits the turning angle of the handlebar to 150º.
