Bickerton

Harry Bickerton was a Rolls Royce engineer when he had to stop driving. He had to face other transport solutions and decided to take charge of designing a folding bicycle.

In 1971 Harry Bickerton , designed and built the first original folding bicycle, lightweight and with an easy and robust folding system. For this he used the best materials available in aluminum alloy and its design inspired most of the folding bicycles that have been designed since then. The Bickerton brand sold 600,000 folding bicycles in the next 20 years. Currently these bicycles are still the most valued and elegant to move around urban areas, and all, thanks to the enthusiasm and passion with which each of these Bickerton bicycles is built.
