Rolling Concept
The cushioning effect (outside on the heel and on the inside on the big toe) is produced by the softness of the measurement of the wedge material (PU or EVA). The support effect (inside the heel and outside on the little toe) is produced by a large number of tube-shaped gaps in the wedge. The technology of Mammut Rolling Concept creates an adequate support and cushions in specific areas of the foot, optimizes the natural balancing behavior, reduces fatigue and therefore the danger of torsion of the ankle and reduces the weight of the sole.
Frog Technology
The hexagonal knobs of Frog Technology soles, developed in cooperation with Vibram, provide maximum grip on any surface. They are manufactured in the same way as the hexagonal surface structure of the frogs' legs.
GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear
100% guaranteed waterproof, thanks to the high quality sealed fit, high quality socks, made of PTFC insert (PolyTetraFluorCarbone). The Performance version offers excellent breathability with the medium heating capacity.
Vibram sole
The shape and arrangement of the studs provides a secure grip on all types of surfaces thanks to its multidirectional arrangement. Made with two rubber mixtures with different softness, they manage to create an ideal proportion of abrasion and grip.
