Garments made with GORE-TEX fabric provide maximum comfort and protection in a wide range of activities and climatic conditions. The GORE-TEX membrane resists water and wind to ensure maximum impermeability but at the same time allows the foot to breathe. How is it achieved? Thanks to the membrane with pores that are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. In this way, water can not enter but the skin can breathe. Each membrane is tested and tested in the harshest weather conditions.
GORE-TEX SURROUND®
The laminated GORE-TEX lining is integrated into the upper and uses ducts under the foot, as well as a lateral thermal regulator to refresh the foot, keeping the footwear completely waterproof and breathable. This technology offers for the first time an adequate perspiration to the soles of the feet without losing absolute impermeability. How is it achieved? Through a lateral thermal regulator that refreshes the foot by means of a special perforated template.

Flexibility is key for an athlete. Salewa guarantees flexibility and freedom of movement, anatomical ankle support and perfect adaptation where the mountaineer needs it. In addition, it incorporates a steel wire reinforcement to have a support added to the heel.
