They are a type of universal Burton bindings, where they work with any type of board, with Burton specific and other brands. Mounting Re:Flex bindings on a board with The Channel, with 3 or 4 holes, is possible, and although you get less feel on the board, you get more response, as there is more material between the foot and the board surface. They do this using a standard mounting configuration with disc and hardware under their feet. Re: Flex bindings allow you to flex, unlike other bindings, so you get a good feel on the board.
