Campagnolo design, produce and distribute high-end road bike components. They are represented in more than 30 countries through five subsidiaries and nine agencies. Their head office is located in Vicenza and, with two production plants, they employ approximately 700 employees.

In July 2004, Campagnolo founded the company Fulcrum Wheels SRL which initially completed the range of Campagnolo high-end wheels in the racing bike sector, later expanding into the Mountain Bike sector with a full range of high-performance wheels.

Campagnolo SRL was founded in 1933 in Vicenza by Commendatore Tullio Campagnolo. The company quickly expanded around three fundamental concepts that characterised it from the beginning: performance, innovation and quality of both the product and service.

Campagnolo is an internationally known brand, with 80% of their production being sold in foreign markets, particularly in the United States, United Kingdom, Benelux, Germany, France, Spain and Japan.

Campagnolo employ the most innovative technologies and production processes in the manufacturer of their products, using the best aerospace application materials: carbon fibre, titanium and aluminium alloys. And, having dominated for decades the world of aluminium, they decided to set a precedence with technologies and applications hitherto unthinkable for the bicycle industry. It is not a coincidence that 1/3 of Campagnolo’s workforce currently works in the area called Compound Elements Unit, founded in 1998. Their number of carbon fibre products increases continuously and just take a look at the 2008 range to verify: low and high profile chainsets, gearboxes, derailleurs, integrated controls, headsets, bottom brackets, seatpost, bottle cages and wheels are currently made of carbon fibre.

As well as setting themselves apart for superior quality and performance, Campagnolo products are a benchmark in terms of design. This is attested by the award bestowed on the brand by the Italian Associazione Design - the prestigious Compasso d’Oro - for their Veloce groupset, Ergopower integrated gear system and Shamal high profile wheels.

Campagnolo represent a happy reality of the two wheel and sporting world. In fact, the Wall Street Journal has included them in the select group of the most well-known sporting goods brands. A notoriety derived not only from their countless successes obtained in competitions, but also from the great attention devoted to the quality and service that characterise them and sets them apart from the competition.
