The carbon rods have a number of advantages compared to aluminum rods: they are lighter, much stiffer and have a longer life, since they do not suffer corrosion. However, carbon is more brittle and can break more easily. That's why the Salewa Carbonium are hybrid carbon rods. The upper segments of the cane on which less charge is exerted are carbon. The lower segment, which is especially in contact with rocks and ridges and is more subject to bending, is made of a robust material (highly resistant aluminum or Titanal). In this way, the canes adapt perfectly to the demands of the different activities.
- Adjustable system
The Powerlock system, which has been incorporated in two variants to the Salewa Carbonium canes, convinces thanks to its high clamping force and its simple operation. The cane can be adjusted to the perfect height quickly and easily.
- Handle
The grip of the Carbonium Alp Speed ??is extra long and allows you to quickly change the grip height on the ascent or descent of the mountain. EVA foam provides a pleasant touch and prevents slippage of the hand.

Delivery within 48 hours". In products with size options, this information will appear when you select the size you want. If we do not have the product in our warehouse, we will inform you of the estimated delivery time. We will keep you updated on this information and work to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible. When the product is not available we will give you the option to sign up to an alert to let you know when it is back in stock.
Payment method: You can pay by card, paypal or bank transfer. If you choose the last option, you will receive an email with our bank details for you to make the payment. When we have proof of the payment, we will take care of changing the status of your order and start to prepare your items for delivery.
Delivery costs: The majority of our orders come with free delivery. Purchases over 49 euros in Spain have free delivery excluding products such as dumbbells, weights, MTB, BMX, urban, road and electric bikes. We don't deliver to the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.
Returns: We guarantee 100% satisfaction with your purchase, you have up to 365 days to return it. You can manage this from the "My account" section and request a refund. For safety and/or hygiene reasons we do not accept returns or exchanges of electronic products that have been switched on and/or activated, food and nutrition products, reusable masks and climbing equipment.
