The Casio G-Shock GBD-100 now with Bluetooth capabilities that enable continuous connection to a smartphone. These clocks can be connected to the GPS of a smartphone for faster calibration of distance measurements, allowing more accurate running distance measurements, even during offline use.

Distance measurements used in combination with the stopwatch allow you to keep track of your running pace, and also allow the use of an Auto Lap function that automatically records times over a specified distance. Other standard features include a step tracker (pedometer), interval timers (up to 20 sets of five timers each), lap time measurement (up to 140 records for up to 100 races) and calorie burn measurement, all of which provide great support for your daily training. In addition, new phone applications are now available to help you configure clock settings more easily and manage your workouts. In addition to the Life Log and Activity History applications, you can automatically create a training plan based on your specified goals.

The displays on these watches use a high-definition MIP LCD, while the Super Illuminator face lighting keeps the information on the face easy to read, even in the dark. The soft urethane band material provides greater comfort, while a large number of holes in the band allow you to adjust the fit to your particular wrist.

The watch maintains a constant Bluetooth connection with your phone to enable automatic time setting, phone notifications, step tracking and other functions throughout the day. Still, the battery life is approximately two years between replacements.
