The Castelli Alpha Flight RoS Rosso Corsa jacket is designed to allow you to ride fast on cold days and enjoy a perfect fit on cooler days. The Alpha double layer construction is the main reason for the exceptional performance of this jacket that will allow you to fly on your bike when the season starts. The stretch fabric lets in a small amount of air to prevent you from sweating too much during heavy exertion in cold temperatures, as moisture is a major cause of sudden cooling of the body. The Polartec Alpha second layer insulates with high breathability and is extremely lightweight for minimal bulk.
The back is made of Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric, which provides a good level of insulation but without a membrane, allowing for excellent sweat wicking. Its close fit prevents the fabric from separating and billowing. Its close-fitting cut also makes it Castelli's most aerodynamic jacket.

The double sided base fabric provides maximum heat, maximum water repellency and low air permeability to prevent wind entry. Not as elastic as Nano Flex 3G for a compressive fit. Castelli's Nano Flex treatment comprises a topical nano-technological mechanical water-repellent micro-filament finish combined with a DWR finish.
