- MIPS Technology
The MIPS head protection system consists of a low-friction layer designed to reduce rotational movement in the human brain, such as that resulting from an impact at an angle. Brain injuries are not only caused by direct blows to the head, but also by rotational forces resulting from an impact at an angle. Scientifically proven, MIPS technology reduces this rotational movement by absorbing and returning rotational energies and forces transmitted to the head from an angle impact.
- RECCO
RECCO is a rescue system that allows you to be located in case of avalanche or loss in mountain expeditions at high altitudes. It uses a system based on reflectors that make it possible for you to be located by a team of professionals thanks to a radar. The reflector consists of a small electronic piece that weighs less than four grams with a thin copper antenna and a diode that echoes and doubles the signals sent out by detectors. It is covered by an external protective rubber layer that gives it its recognisable capsule shape. It is practically indestructible. The reflector does not send out signals, meaning it does not require energy source.
- Fine Tuning Fit System
The F.T.F. concept (Fine Tuning Fit) allows a precise fit of the helmet to the user. When you're wearing this helmet you can perfectly adjust the helmet on your head for the perfect fit and stability even in the most extreme situations. When not skiing, the user can adjust the helmet to a more relaxed position and thus have a slightly less tight helmet.
- Polycarbonate Lenses (Impact Resistant)
20 times more impact resistant than glass and substantially lighter (the specific weight of a polycarbonate lens is 1.22g / cm3 compared to 2.53g / cm3 for a mineral lens), polycarbonate lenses offer the best combination of protection, performance and visual comfort.
