The frictional resistance of standard CeramicSpeed bearings is typically 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That represents an average drag drop of 75% versus standard brackets. Hardened steel races feature ceramic balls that are 100% softer and 15% harder than ceramic competition. The bearings last at least 3 times longer than other bearings. Coated bearings further reduce resistance and increase service life. Coated races see a 50% reduction in resistance and a 60% improvement in bearing life. Grease tuning performance change. All Round Grease comes installed, but can be replaced with lower drag TT and track grease, or longer lasting LongLife grease, which adds a little drag but stays inside when driving in uneven conditions.
