CeramicSpeed is more than just bearings. It is a company founded on innovation and a relentless desire to change the world of competitive cycling. It has grown rapidly over the years, distributing in more than 20 countries, with a growing team of unique individuals in offices in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

In 1998, Jacob Csizmadia broke the world record for 24-hour inline skating, using skates equipped with ceramic ball bearings. Two years later, he introduced ceramic bearings for professional cycling. A winning mentality is how it all began, and it is this guiding principle that continues to drive us forward.

In 2001, Jacob went on tour with Team CSC, where ceramic bearings were used in the Tour de France for the first time.

The knowledge of bicycle bearings was the launch pad for industrial applications, working with global manufacturing companies in a variety of sectors to achieve operational savings that allow them to remain competitive and continue to grow. In 2014, CeramicSpeed received FDA certification, producing the only bearings in the world with approval for direct contact with foodstuffs.
