The SRAM XX1 Eagle chain is the key part to make the whole gear change function to work perfectly. It includes Hard Chrome technology and Titanium Nitride treatment which is designed to keep corrosion away and to keep a quick shift that has got us out of so many problems, Eagle has redesigned it in this version to guarantee performance. Since the distance between the plates is less, the chain is slightly tightened, so SRAM has moved to new production methods: every link is made with a progressive print technique on the metal in various phases which gives a high level of accuracy.
