Chris Koppert & Frank Moons, founders and owners of BBB Cycling, started competing together from 6 years old. For 16 years, all they did was train and compete. They were on the same team, they competed against others and against each other and were part of the Dutch national team together for a while. Both won races inside and outside of the Netherlands.

After many years competing, they had very clear ideas of how the products, accessories and components for bicycles should be and in 1997 they decided to manufacture their own products under the BBB brand, developing the concept “shop in shop” using displays and to present the product in an appropriate way. Their first products were cycling glasses, bike pumps and bar ends. They also launched a line of winter shoe covers and gloves inspired by the harsh Dutch weather.

At the end of the 90s, BBB leaped beyond its borders, appearing in Eurobike and developing a network of distributors in twenty countries. At the same time, the products designed by BBB began winning tests and the BBB logo became one of the best known in the bicycle industry. Product lines were added including carbon seatposts, saddles, C02 cartridges and new disc brake pads.

In 2004 they took their first steps in the world of professional cycling and quite successfully, as Magnus Bäckstedt, from the Alessio-Bianchi team, won the famous Paris-Roubaix classic.

Between 2005 and 2007 Quick-Step Innergetic team riders, Tom Boonen (2005) and Paolo Bettini (2006 and 2007) won 3 consecutive road world championships wearing BBB glasses. In 2005 BBB launched a new model of glasses called Winner, a model that is still very popular today.

In 2006 BBB took another step in the world of sponsorship, adding a MTB team. Bianchi-Agos-Liquigas team saw their cyclist Julien Absalon win the titles of European and World champion wearing BBB glasses.

The OvalIntegrate pump won BBB their first Eurobike prize in 2008, demonstrating how a crazy idea of a pump that attaches to the tubes of the frame can win them a prize.

In 2010 BBB started supplying cycling helmets, cycling glasses and bike computers to the Quick-Step team again. Achieving, with them some formidable results in just a few days during the 2010 Tour de France. BBB sponsored cyclists won the yellow jersey (Chavanel) and the polka-dot jersey (Pineau). 2010 marked the beginning of a long sponsorship with the young and ambitious professional Vacansoleil team.

The 2011 Tour de France featured 3 Pro Tour teams sponsored by BBB at the start: Cofidis, Quick-Step and Vacansoleil-DCM. BBB also started sponsoring the MTB BMC Mountainbike Racing team with helmets, goggles and other products. Team leader Moritz Milatz won the German championship in both XC and marathon.

Today BBB has more than 1500 items divided into more than 40 different families, being able to offer you the best items in a wide range of prices and qualities. This is why it can be said that at BBB truly are, “All About Cycling”
