Coluer
productsColuer is a family business, founded in Spain in 1991 by the professional cyclist Luis Mayoral, one of the most important cyclists who formed the Spanish team during the 60's.
Being extremely passionate and totally dedicated to the world of bicycles, he founded his own brand, which he would call Coluer, with beginnings based on the handcrafted assembly of a small number of models. These were sold in small bicycle shops, shops that today are no longer customers, but friends.
At the end of the 90s, encouraged by the great acceptance of Coluer in the market, he started a new project, the construction of his own factory in Europe where he could design and assemble his own brand. Coluer began the journey of a dream that today has become a reality.
The design department is the starting point, where the first ideas are born of what they want to do and for whom. For a start, there is nothing better than having a team of designers and enthusiasts who understand the bike and help develop each model starting with an idea, a pencil and a computer.
Once each project is approved at a graphic level, the first prototype is produced in raw, which is sent to a certified laboratory to be tested under extreme conditions. Once this phase is over, the first samples are produced, ready to be tested in their natural environment, until they are approved by our demanding riders.
Once the product has been approved on a graphic and functional level, the first samples are prepared to give it final approval by the manufacturer.
The entire assembly process is done in the factory itself, divided into several production lines, one mechanical line and another with individual stations, where each bicycle is assembled one by one from start to finish by a single person.
Once assembled they are stored in the factory, ready to be distributed to different countries.
