The Mavic Deemax Pro Flat shoes are designed with cutting edge materials and technologies, this next-generation downhill shoe helps you take your gravity game to the next level. They are purpose-built for control, confidence and rugged durability. It starts with its unique upper, made with patented Matryx technology, which features a tough Kevlar and polyamide blend for light weight and high abrasion resistance. The material is also easy to clean and is resistant to water, so it won't weigh you down in wet, muddy conditions. The sole features a spider shape tread on the forefoot and wide grooves near the heel for confident off-the-bike traction. It's designed with additional toe and heel protection and a padded ankle guard.

These are very comfortable trainers and protect the foot well. They protect from wind and rain.

Seem tough

Have only got a couple rides in with the new shoes but they appear to be of high quality

Good shoe, but not as sticky as Five Ten

I bought mine a size larger then normal shoe size and they fit excellent. Quite efficient pedalling and good damping of impacts thx to the great innersole. In the wet and with a little mud the grip on my Shimano Saint pedals is not as good as with my Five Ten Freeriders. Walking (hike-a-bike) is fine.
