The Deuter Guide 44+8L backpack is even lighter than its predecessor and, at the same time, it is also cleverly designed. Thanks to the front access, you can quickly get to your equipment and not waste time on your hike. If you want to save extra weight, simply remove the hip wings, hull support or frame. Thanks to the alpine back system, the backpack fits snugly and close to your body: you're safe in the mountains.

Deuter's Microrip is a 330 denier polyamide blend fabric that is highly tear resistant. The use of 6.6 nylon makes the material very durable and resistant. Thanks to the polyurethane coating, it is also waterproof (resistance to a water column of 2000 mm), making it the ideal material for large backpacks.

- Ergonomically designed shoulder straps fit like a glove without chafing your neck or arms. In addition, the SL straps have soft edges.
- Stabilising adjustment straps on the shoulders and hip flaps adapt to any terrain.
- Optimum load transfer thanks to compact hip flaps. They also hold the backpack firmly in place. Larger models include PE reinforcement.
- Move freely on any type of road: the removable and flexible hip flaps will accompany your every move. On the Guide, Rise Pro, Rise Tour and Freerider Pro models the hip fins can be easily removed. Advantages: weight reduction and more comfortable belt loading. The backpack can be carried only with the belt that goes to the waist, which is also removable.
- Perfect load transfer to the hip wings thanks to the ergonomic, removable X-frame made of multi-compartment aluminium profiles or a flexible frame made of permanently elastic steel.
- Good load transfer with minimum weight thanks to the Delrin U-frame. It accompanies any kind of movement pattern without any problems.

- VariFlex System
Deuter's Vari Flex system clearly defines the flexibility of this charging system. The rotating hip flaps accompany more complex body movements. In addition, the load can be evenly distributed to the hips, providing freedom of movement and reducing fatigue. Two sturdy GRP rods and straps for adjusting the load on the hip flaps allow for precise load control. The Vari Flex system and the aluminium compartments form the core of the loading system, which combines stability, efficient load transfer, total control and incredible flexibility.
