The DPV Bora Air glasses with photochromic lenses are based on the successful and proven DPV Bora model. Compared to the original model, they have laser-cut openings on the top of the lens to improve internal ventilation, and are designed for times of intense perspiration, such as long climbs during the summer, and for people who like a very aggressive design. The DPV Bora Air glasses have an aerodynamic shape and a design suitable for sports such as cycling and running. With an aesthetic design and race cut, the DPV Bora Air glasses are the perfect accessory for cycling. The cylindrical lens offers wide visibility and gives a very high performance look, creating a more mask-like aesthetic. The anatomical nose bridge made of hypoallergenic thermolast improves comfort and facilitates the fit. On the inside of the rod ends there is a groove that improves the grip on the head, even with sudden movements.

Overall very good
Tldr; they do exactly what they’re supposed to do, and do it very well. I have a tendency to lose glasses, so a pair of photochromic ones at a replaceable price fit my requirements. After a couple hundred kms of mixed gravel riding, here are some impressions: - The build quality is good. The plastic is lightweight and durable. There are some nice details like texture on the arms to keep them in place. The nose pad is comfortable enough. -My helmet size is usually an L (59cm head) and I have a more ovalish face and these fit me almost exactly like the picture. - My main criteria in deciding to buy photochromic glasses were simple: they should adjust to light changed fast enough that they are useful during all-day rides and they should get dark enough to save my eyes in full sun. I can say they do both jobs almost perfectly. Perhaps there is some delay in the change from light to dark; I notice mostly that they make every light condition (including full midday sun) feel ambiently more or less like an overcast day. I haven’t specifically noticed the change so it must be fast enough for me. I also enjoy that things are still bright enough to see details clearly do this is perfect though perhaps for some they may be too bright. - There is no noticeable distortion in the view with these. This was a major point against the XC shades I bought from Decathlon — wearing them for a long time tired out my eyes as there was always barrel distortion - They are designed so that the arms squeeze around your head. This does an effective job of keeping them on your face, even over gnarly terrain. Mine have very rarely slipped even when I was sweating hard on a climb. - Unsure if there is any anti-fog treatment. I will update this review once I ride with them in colder weather. Although there is sometimes a bit of fog just above the nose pad on short pauses after a hard effort, it is barely noticeable and goes away immediately once I start pedaling again. - They do let small particles in at low speeds (<23kph), though I’ve also ridden them in plenty of windy and rainy conditions and descending rapidly and in all of these cases they were more than adequate in their eye protection. -They do scratch, though not easily. With good care the lenses should last a while. -They come in a microfiber bag inside of a box, so no fancy case. Cases are fairly easy to come by though, so not a minus at all for me. These have impressed me, especially for the price, and I’m sure the rest of the DPV range is equally good. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of them to anyone who is in the market as they’ll likely find a style they like in the lineup.
