Eurosport Nutrition Isotonic Sports drink is made with a 2:1 ratio of glucose to fructose. Glucose (also known as dextrose) is the most important source of fuel for the body. The proportion has to be right. With a normal diet, you can convert a maximum of about 60 grams of sugar into energy per hour. With a 2:1 ratio of glucose to fructose, the conversion rate can be increased to 90 grams. Your body will have more energy available for exercise.
This drink is high in essential minerals (sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus). Eurosport nutrition aims to have enough minerals in the isotonic drink to replenish all the minerals normally lost during exercise through perspiration. High levels of minerals ensure maximum absorption of moisture and energy by the body and optimal muscle performance. The taste is a little saltier than many other sports drinks, but not so salty as to be overpowering.
A relatively low pH level of 3.2-3.5 is typical. The taste is perfect and the supply of new carbohydrates is faster.
