The Fjällräven Barents Parka Jacket is long and resistant for winter and is ideal for extreme and changing weather conditions. It features the durable Supreme Micro Loft padding that provides heat and the G-1000 outer fabric that prevents water from entering. The generous hood has a removable faux fur edge for added protection against snow. Many pockets offer convenient storage space, such as vertical chest pockets for maps, phones or bus passes, and lower bellows pockets that have room for gloves and frozen hands. There is also a hidden napoleon pocket and two inside pockets. It also has a drawstring hem and a two-way long zip with a protective flap and snap buttons. The cuffs of the sleeves can be adjusted with velcro. Its classic cut and robust materials make Parka Barents suitable for both daily use and outdoor life, without worrying about getting wet. Fjällräven Supreme Micro Loft synthetic insulation has been developed to offer heat in humid conditions. Imitates natural feathers and down, trapping the air and providing warmth. The Supreme Micro Loft can withstand more moisture without losing insulating capacity, it is also much easier to clean and more durable than natural down. It even maintains its high lightness even after prolonged use.

The Fjällräven G-1000 fabric is durable and adapts to a wide variety of weather conditions. The G-1000 is very dense, made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. It is waxed with Greenland wax, a mixture of beeswax and paraffin that offers water resistance.
