The Focus Izalco Max Disc 8.6 road bike is a road bike with the highest degree of specialisation in aerodynamics. It's also lightweight and has incredible speeds. Combine all its virtues to create an exciting on-road experience that will motivate you to go out riding with your friends more often. The aerodynamic carbon seat post's 15mm recoil offers perfect ergonomics and comfort. However, because the seat tube of the Izalco Max has been moved forward, the effective recoil is only 2mm. As a result, you can enjoy total comfort while pedalling in a modern racing position. The R.A.T. system is the first thru-axle system that combines the stability, alignment and lateral rigidity of a thru-axle with extremely fast wheel change. The R.A.T. system outperforms even conventional quick-releases in simplicity and speed. All cables run inside the specially developed C.I.S. aero stem: from the aero handlebar through the stem and steering to the frame. This guarantees perfect operation while maintaining optimal aerodynamics and clean controls.
