The DPX2 features the best of both concepts, placing it exactly in the middle of Trail and Enduro. A thin line between the two that overlap constantly and calls for a very powerful shock that is easier to use. The DPX2 has been created to meet the increasing demand placed on Enduro bikes, that are almost mini DH bikes, and also the new needs of Trail bikes of 140/150 mm, that now have to occupy that space that Enduro bikes are leaving behind.

The Dual Piston System (DPS) features three adjustment settings (Open, Medium and Firm) to allow users to adapt to a wide variety of terrain. The valve design provides a full lockout without compromising bump compliance, gear control and efficiency. Factory Series DPX2 rear shocks offer an extra 10 clicks of compression adjustablity in Open mode.

Taking the oil flow architecture from the FLOAT X2 and DHX2, DPX2 is the X2's little brother. This system creates low hysteresis, quick hydraulic response, and better sensitivity and heat dissipation. It also offers a wide, usable range of adjustment options and controls low-speed compression and rebound flow paths for better tuning and consistent performance.
- EVOL
The EVOL (Extra Volume) significantly reduces the strength needed to initiate travel, resulting in more sensitivity and better absorption of small impacts. The linear spring curve is adjusted via volume spacers, allowing cyclists to perfectly tune the air spring response.
