The Gaerne Kobra MTB shoes use a micro-adjustable BOA reel for closure and are designed with TSS (Tarsal Support System) technology to ensure the perfect foot position inside the shoe, allowing a round pedal without losing energy. The Gaerne Kobra shoes include an EPS Carbon Power MTB sole with Michelin technology that offers great energy transmission when pedalling and the right flexibility when walking.

The patented BOA closure system includes micro-adjustable reels with steel cable. The combination of these features allows the cyclist to gain an even fit, without pressure points, and thanks to the lack of Velcro straps, there's a better air circulation at the front of the foot.

These shoes are designed with TSS (Tarsal Support System) technology to ensure the perfect foot position inside the shoe, allowing a round pedal without losing energy.
- Air Ventilation System
All Gaerne shoes have excellent breathability and a perfect micro-climate.
- EPS Comfort Insole
Anatomical internal sockliner with support around the tarsus to improve comfort and pedalling efficiency. The sockliner is perforated to achieve a perfect micro-climate on the inside of the shoe.
- Heel Cup
A new anatomical heel design with a new injected plastic piece that retains its shape. Anti-tendonitis design with anti-slip insert for improved stability and foot control.

The Gaerne technology combined with the know-how of designers and engineers at Michelin has resulted in this new EPS Carbon Power MTB sole that offers great energy transmission when pedalling and the right flexibility when walking.
The structure is made from nylon with carbon fibres and the Michelin rubber step area of the sole combines a component designed for best performance and abrasion-resistance, even in extreme situations, with a tread design that gives optimum grip and traction. The wide distance between one cleat and another is great for self-cleaning.
