The Gaerne Sincro Carbon MTB shoes incorporate the innovative Dual FCS (Fitting Closure System) that includes two BOA IP-1 micro-adjustable reels and 4 guides, which gives a precise, fast and personalised close across the whole front of the shoe, with no pressure points. The Gaerne Sincro Carbon MTB shoes include an EPS lightweight carbon fibre MTB sole with Michelin technology that offers the perfect combination of performance, durability, support and a lightweight feel.

- BOA IP-1
The new BOA IP-1 reel has triple functionality: to close the right shoe, the reel is turned clockwise and to open, it's turned anti-clockwise, and the opposite for the left shoe. Lift up the reel to fully open the shoe. The new BOA IP-1 reel is hexagonal, which along with the rubber finish, provides a more effective grip and an optimum fit.
- Dual FCS Dual Fitting Closure System
The innovative Dual FCS (Fitting Closure System) includes two BOA IP-1 micro-adjustable reels and 4 guides. These features provide a precise, fast and personalised close across the whole front area of the shoe, with no pressure points.
- TSS Tarsal Support System
These shoes are designed with TSS (Tarsal Support System) technology to ensure the perfect foot position inside the shoe, allowing a round pedal without losing energy.
- Air Ventilation System
All Gaerne shoes have excellent breathability and a perfect micro-climate.
- Comfort Fit Tongue
The tongue is perforated for improved interior ventilation and includes special cushioning for improved comfort.

A new anatomical heel design with a new injected plastic piece that retains its shape. Anti-tendonitis design with anti-slip insert for improved stability and foot control.

The Gaerne technology combined with know-how from the designers and engineers at Michelin has resulted in this new EPS lightweight carbon fibre MTB sole, which offers the perfect combination of performance, durability, resistance and a lightweight feel. The structure is made from carbon for great stiffness and pedal power. The Michelin rubber tread combines a compound designed to balance performance and abrasion resistance – also in extreme conditions – with a design profile which allows for excellent hold and traction. The large distance between the treads allows better self-cleaning and instant mud shedding. For the riders who need even more grip, two holes in the toe cup allow the fixing of screw-on cleats. Tested by the best bikers, this sole represents the pinnacle in terms of technology, innovation and functional quality.
