- Pertex Quantum:
It's a very lightweight fabric. It is a real featherweight with about 30g/m2. They use the thinnest possible thread with the highest number of strands. Being lighter doesn't mean being more fragile. Pertex Quantum bears witness to this with the best strength-to-weight ratio. Tear strength in extreme use and seam strength are optimum for the weight. It can be used in fitted jackets. However, the abrasion resistance is not comparable to that of a fabric with a standard weight of 44 decitex. The dense fabric of the Pertex Quantum also makes it featherproof. It can be applied to many high-end products such as sleeping bags, feather bags and expedition material. It's the dream of the well-equipped fanatic. Main properties: Ultra-light weight of 30g/m2. Compact. Excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
