Haibike Women MTB

Haibike is a German brand, pioneer of eMTB, known basically for its electric mountain bike., with 80 different models in 2017 and many of them with colour or frame options to reach a total of 100 models of eMTB + 85 in conventional MTB. To date it has won 36 awards and accolades. .

Haibike, comes from the name bike shark. It was founded 20 years ago in Schweinfurt in the Bavarian region of Germany. The current headquarters has 21,000m2 and 350 employees.

Susanne Puello already came from a family with a passion for bicycles. Her great-grandfather Engelbert Wiener founded E.Wiener in 1921.

Susanne is a person with a lot of weight, especially when it comes to making important decisions; she is considered the Steve Jobs of bicycles. She made the first 29-wheel eMTB, the first road ebike, the first eMTB with electronic suspension, the first e-Fatbike, the first carbon eMTB with dual suspension, the first e-downhill and the first e-Connect electronic system. The brand continues to innovate year after year to stay in the spotlight of electric bikes and not lose the leadership it has had so far.

Haibike is a medium-sized family business that has played a key role in the development of eMTBs. Susanne Puello together with her husband Felix have led the brand since it was born in 1996, on this strong trajectory that continues to grow, especially with a lot of success in the last 6 years. It was on the stand at Eurobike 2010 that Haibike exhibited its 2 eMTBs and 1 e-trekking bike and caused a stir in the bike industry.
