Then, according to the type of climbing we will choose a type of harness or others.

Types of climbing and harnesses:

- Classic Climbing: For this type of climbing of long routes it is necessary that it is very comfortable and, therefore, the quilted zones and the hooks and loops to carry material abound. They are usually quite heavy.

- Sport climbing: This type of climbing is of shorter routes and its harnesses are usually the lightest, do not carry many loops or accessories.

- Mountaineering: They weigh little and do not include unnecessary elements. They are designed to distribute the material in such a way that they do not collide with backpacks or crampons and hinder your progress.

- Canyoning: Its anchoring is high and are usually padded in the rear area. Sometimes they are divided into chest and lower harnesses.
