The reliable HELLY TECH Professional system has been used to provide waterproof/breathable and windproof protection. The garment has a wider cut for easy on and off. The stretch fabric and articulated cut offer maximum freedom of movement. Earth-friendly PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation provides lightweight warmth.
Other ski features include a helmet compatible hood, a RECCO transponder, a LIFE POCKET to keep your phone battery safe in cold conditions, high visibility features, a repair kit and ventilation openings for quick cooling. Helly Hansen is committed to reducing its environmental impact. This jacket is made from 80% recycled materials according to the bluesign certified textile manufacturing process, which reduces waste at every step of the clothing supply chain.

- PrimaLoft Black Insulation Eco
The PrimaLoft Black Insulation Eco was originally developed to solve the shortcomings of standard continuous filament insulation: compactness and softness. This brings together all the functions that are expected from synthetic PrimaLoft materials, total warmth, performance when wet, efficient compacting and a soft feel. The fibres create a long-fibre insulation that brings these qualities and removes cold points. Efficiently retaining body heat in the dry and wet, and maintaining breathability; this insulation offers comfort and protection from the elements.
- RECCO
RECCO is a rescue system that allows you to be located in case of avalanche or loss in mountain expeditions at high altitudes. It uses a system based on reflectors that make it possible for you to be located by a team of professionals thanks to a radar. The reflector consists of a small electronic piece that weighs less than four grams with a thin copper antenna and a diode that echoes and doubles the signals sent out by detectors. It is covered by an external protective rubber layer that gives it its recognisable capsule shape. It is virtually indestructible. The reflector does not send out signals, meaning it does not require energy source.
