The Burton Covert 2L Jacket for Children is made with Thermacore insulation and breathable taffeta lining to add strategic warmth for enhanced comfort. The Covert jacket, the proverbial pot of gold in snowboarding, includes the Room-To-Grow system which allows the garment to expand with growth spurts.

- The hood is helmet-compatible and has an elastic gaiter in the hood and crown adjustment; and chafe-free chin protection

Thermocore is known to be a low-volume insulating material that has an amazing heat-generating capacity. Burton strategically places this insulation in varying degrees between the arms, body and pants of their products to increase mobility and maintain protection from the cold. This ensures you get the insulation you need, in the areas you need it, without adding extra bulk. Thermocore is Burton's insulation for most of their technical outerwear and is used in various weights, depending on the intended use of the garment.

The Bluesign certificate is more than just an ecolabel. Due to the global focus on industrial standards, not only has the final consumer’s safety been taken into account, but also other aspects, including workplace health, and water and air emissions. As well as these crucial aspects, the principle of conserving resources is also an essential element of the bluesign certification.
