- Designed for experienced users: Gesture identical to a classic assurance system: the assurance is carried out with both hands on the rope. The arrest of the fall is made by squeezing the free end with your hand. It can be used optimally with all simple dynamic strings from 9.4 to 10.3 mm (possible for strings from 8.9 to 11 mm). Installation diagrams of the rope engraved on the insurer (inside and outside). Compact and very light with 170 g.
- Braking assisted: during the arrest of the fall, the insurer holds the free end, the cam rotates and clamps the rope, and thus increases the braking until the rope stops.
- The GriGri 2 has a design that allows better control of the descent. One hand holds the rope and the other unlocks the cam, using the handle. This handle, of patented design, allows a good progressivity of unblocking.
