The Joma R. 3000 Running Shoes are intended for competition and aimed at runners with good technique who want to take advantage of the extra reactivity provided by the ENDOPLATE carbon fibre plate. This semi-rigid material compresses the midsole foam and achieves 80% reactivity by releasing body weight. Thus, the true benefits of R.3000 for runners is that energy savings help reduce fatigue, maintain a constant pace throughout the race and facilitate recovery. It provides a saving of 2% in energy costs with the plate model versus the same model without a plate. Mainly due to an increase in stride length of 0.8cm and therefore a reduction in the same proportion in stride frequency.
It is indicated for runners with good tread technique and fast rhythms, to be used only on asphalt and track. The weight of the shoe is 258 gr. and a drop of 8 mm. The upper is made of a highly breathable fabric and to which the VTS SYSTEM is applied to maximize this quality. In addition, the very fine nylon that provides comfort and freedom of movement to the foot following the FLEXSHIELD system that provides an adjustment to the foot without resistance and in a light way. To add comfort, the tongue has interior foam and double elastic support to the cut that ensures that it stays in place at all times. The sole has developed an exclusive geometry studied for the type of runner the R.3000 is aimed at. They are runners with a refined technique that land on the front of the foot, which is why the rubber has been reinforced on the toecap, especially on the part of the thumb and the transition lines of the foot. The reduction in rubber aids in a lighter shoe while allowing the release of energy that the reactivity of R.3000 requires. Another important point is to ensure traction from the sole to the asphalt at such fast paces. The DURABILITY rubber accompanied by a reinforcement in the area most prone to wear increases its resistance to wear.
