- Noyau Double Barrel - Fir/Aspen:
The outer parts of the core are made of spruce to increase durability in the edge area, while the central part of the core is made of poplar to achieve greater lightness and easier rotations.
- TwinTech Sidewalls:
This construction improves the life of the edges. The Twin Tech construction often solves the problem of topsheet wear when inserted into the edge, as it reduces the angle of grip in this sensitive area.
- Triaxial fiber:
This is the element that makes the K2 ski cores so unique. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the (patented) triaxial fibre braiding machine weaves the fibreglass around a laminated core. This allows for high torsional strength while retaining the dynamic distribution of the wood core's flexibility.
- Carbon Boost Braid:
Longitudinal carbon fiber inserted into the triaxial fiber to add pop or rebound.
- Sintered Base:
Denser ski sole offers better glide and greater resistance.
- All Terrain Twin Rocker:
The All-Terrain Twin Rocker is a gradual and extended climb on the tip and tail for more versatility and control in all conditions with twin-tip skis.
