The Poacher is a ski without limits, safe and efficient, whether it is off-piste, in a snowpark or anywhere else in the resort, even far from the most frequented trails. With solid construction using the same Double Barrel core, and spruce Reckoner in the edge area for durability and poplar in the center for easy rotations and reduced weight, it will never let you down, even in the toughest of receptions. The Twintech Sidewall also offers great resistance to impacts on the rails. With its 96 mm skid, the Poacher is not afraid of speed, it attenuates ground movements well and remains solid regardless of the conditions of passage. The All Terrain Rocker gives this Twin Tip more playability, versatility and manageability. The presence of the Carbon Boost Braid, a braided carbon fibre strategically placed in the ski, provides an extra pop, very necessary in freestyle, and a lot of dynamism and stability both on compacted slopes and on complicated snow.

This construction improves the life of the edges. The Twin Tech construction often solves the problem of topsheet wear when inserted into the edge, as it reduces the angle of grip in this sensitive area.

- Triaxial fiber:
This is the element that makes the K2 ski cores so unique. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the (patented) triaxial fibre braiding machine weaves the fibreglass around a laminated core. This allows for high torsional strength while retaining the dynamic distribution of the wood core's flexibility.
