Kini Red Bull

Heinz Kinigadner was one of the greatest riders in the Motocross Grand Prix World Championship in the mid-eighties. He was the F.I.M. 250cc Motocross World Chamion in 1984 and 1985 while riding for the KTM factory racing team. After his motocross career, Kinigadner started competing in off road races such as the Paris to Dakar rally. Being the first Austrian Motocross World Champion, competing with KTM turned him into a national hero in his home country and allowed him to become the first Red Bull sponsored motocross rider.

After a severe motocross accident in 2003 that left his son paraplegic, Kinigadner and the Red Bull owner decided to create the “Wings for Life Foundation” with the aim of finding a cure for spinal cord injuries. A large proportion of the profits from the Kini-Red Bull collection goes to the Wings For Life Foundation.
