The Mountain Running collection models adopt the exclusive La Sportiva insoles by Ortholite, made with two different thicknesses. Both models can be found in male and female versions with materials of different densities. It offers greater transpiration and high comfort thanks to sole ventilation, longer duration thanks to a technology that avoids excessive compression of the material, favours the elimination of sweat keeping the foot dry and has an anti-bacterial and washable treatment for greater foot hygiene.

Manufactured with a high degree of cushioning and elasticity. These features allow for a true 'Push off' during the propulsion phase whilst running, These models have EVA injections in the midsole which is ideal for use on off-road trails. On the other hand, the midsole injection reduces the EVA 'squash' effect, maintaining the same original properties over time and making the shoes long-lasting.

La Sportiva FriXion sole compounds were made with the aim of creating a contact zone with different water tightness and durability parameters depending on the type of use and terrain where La Sportiva shoes are used. The FriXion Blue High Durability sole offers a soft, lightweight and highly durable compound with a good grip. Ideal for wide track and trail racing.
