The La Sportiva Jackal trail running shoes have been designed for Ultra-Trails, long distance races and prolonged middle distance training in the mountains. Every detail, from the upper to the sole, has been studied to favour the comfort of the foot over long distances: comfortable fit and a wide last designed for ultra marathon use; elastic Comfort Fit tongue that wraps and softens for maximum freedom of movement; sock-like construction to prevent the entry of stones or mud. The lacing system incorporates the eyelets directly into the side panels of the upper, a solution that facilitates volume adjustment during long distance running where the foot tends to swell. To ensure good ventilation, the upper has highly breathable mesh panels.

The heart of the Jackal is the sole and midsole. Firstly, the FriXion Red compound outsole, with differentiated lug thickness and flex zones, offers exceptional grip and durability. The midsole features internal cushioning panels with Infinitoo technology. Thanks to these panels you will enjoy comfort and stability perfectly adapted for long distance running.
