The birth of Lacosteis the story of a bet, an American journalist and a very tenacious gambler. Since then Lacoste has been a French company manufacturing clothes, watches, perfumes, shoes, belts and suitcases, among many other luxury items. Its most famous product is its Polo shirt, made of piqué material.
