Brand created in 1930 by the Lafuma brothers who started producing backpacks in Anneyron, France and managed to get the first French expedition to go up to the Himalayas in 1936, with one of their backpacks. This gave them prestige and began the growth and expansion of the company.

In 1954, Lafuma launched its first collection of camping furniture and folding chairs. Currently, they offer a wide range of products for hiking, running or trail and skiing. Even so, they have never forgotten their most basic principle: respect for the environment
