Using only one fiber when knitting socks is a waste of potential. At Lorpen, they combine different fibers to maximize their heating or cooling properties. In the case of the warm weather T3 combination, the more open weave structure helps to release the heat created during exercise and provides a natural cooling effect for the foot. An independent laboratory test conducted in North Carolina (USA) has shown that the use of the drug in the United States has been reduced to a minimum. USA It showed that the T3 combination of Coolmax and Tencel fibres provided the best results in vertical absorption and moisture wicking compared to a variety of traditional yarns used in sports sock construction. This indicates that a person wearing the T3 yarn combination may perform at a higher level than when wearing traditional sock designs.
- Selective Layering System (SLS)
It is an improvement on the T3 three-layer system that allows you to combine different numbers of layers in different areas of the sock as required by the activity.
- Coolmax EcoMade
The Coolmax polyester in the new spring summer 2022 models has been replaced by Coolmax EcoMade. This new technology provides the same long-lasting coolness you'd expect from the Coolmax brand, but produced from 97% recycled materials to help the environment. This polyester fibre is made from 100% recycled PET bottles, offering permanent moisture absorption.
- Tencel
Tencel is a cellulose fibre from Lenzing that comes from certified sustainable Eucalyptus trees. Tencel's nanostructure offers exceptional moisture transport, accumulation, expansion and drying.
- Stretch nylon with Lycra
A layer of stretchy Nylon with Lycra provides durability and ensures that these socks stay on your shoes without slipping down to your toes. On the one hand, Nylon is a synthetic continuous fibre that is characterised by its resistance and cushioning capacity. Lycra, on the other hand, is a synthetic elastane fibre that can stretch up to six times its length and return to its original state.
