Technology:

Using only one type of fibre when knitting socks is a waste of potential. At Lorpen, they combine different fibres to maximize their heating or cooling properties. In the case of the warm weather T3 combination, the more open weave structure helps to release the heat created during exercise and provides a natural cooling effect for the foot. An independent laboratory test conducted in North Carolina (USA)
showed that the T3 combination of COOLMAX and Tencel fibres provided the best results in vertical absorption and moisture wicking compared to a variety of traditional yarns used in the construction of athletic socks. This means using a combination of T3 threads, one can reach a higher level of performance than when using traditional socks.
